June was an exciting watershed for Nine Lies -- a month when both the band and their fans collectively soared to the stratosphere with the announcement of their first big budget UK and Ireland release. WooHoo, you heard it here first! Nine Lies has been beamed around the world a stack of times, first as the theme tune for a US Reality TV Show, ASCAP Expo thumbs up, 43,000 downloads of a single song, and a tour of Eastern Europe. They have landed with a thunderous big bang at our site, so be sure to check out this hot new Irish group!

Since the release in 2006 to critical acclaim of the 'Behind It All' album, it's been a non-stop rollercoaster ride for Nine Lies, with the title track finding home as the theme song for 'Our Prisoner' in the USA.

In 2007, the Song 'Slippin Away' was downloaded more than 43,000 times and chosen by ASCAP for excellence in song writing at Music Expo 07 in L. A.

And the last two years have been the biggest and best to date, with travel to Poland to play the Vena Music Festival in Lódz to thousands of screaming fans alongside the Sugababes and Fun Lov'in Criminals. Being invited to play FMI 08 in Brazil and licensing 'We R1' to Techno Sweat for use on their exercise CD's, things got really exciting when a Nine Lies track was also licensed for their first video game. This group is way hot!
