Currently based in Australia, Ariel Kalma began his venture into music as a child growing up in France. After learning several instruments, he went on to study Electronics, Computer Science, Music, and Art in Paris, and performed with several touring bands. Travels to Japan, India, Canada, and the US broadened Ariel's musical horizons tremendously, influencing his writing style which spans the French, World, Electronic, New Age, and Jazz genres, among others. His compositions have been used in theater, film, musical poetry, guided meditations, and transformational groups.
With his passion for recording and sound, Ariel Kalma was technical assistant to some of the composers at Paris' GRM (Musical Research Group of the Audiovisual National Institute), where he recorded some of his works. He has also played on many albums worldwide, and in the year 2000 he created his own World-Fusion compilation label called Music Mosaic.
