UK artist Daniel Aaron Thorpe of AudioTone is a true modern composer, creating a wide variety of music, ranging from epic anthems, perfect for adverts and short films, to pumping dance tracks great for use on fashion shows and sassy catwalk. Taking his inspiration from bands like U2, Sigur Ros, Calvin Harris and elbow, AudioTone explores exciting and soulful emotions within his music, heightening any visual experience.
As a kid, Daniel Aaron Thorpe found his love for music through the drum set, playing along with popular songs while spending hours studying musical parts, structure and dynamics. At the age of 19, Daniel began his career as a musician. To help refine his understanding and knowledge of music, he enrolled at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music, passing with distinction.
His band, capital, currently signed to London-based independent record label 'Fierce Panda' (who discovered Coldplay), is working on a new 13-track album Force Is Not A Remedy, due to be released in 2010.
Dan continues his creative writing and composing new material using professional software and hardware. He has also written sound effects, nine minuet performance pieces, and has taken on the role of Musical Director.
