Bob Crawford
New York artist Bob Crawford has had a long and varied career as a successful songwriter, producer, arranger, and author. He has collaborated with many well-known artists, including Mick Taylor of The Rolling Stones, and he's composed for numerous TV shows, films, and album releases in genres such as Pop, RnB, Jazz, Salsa, Dance, Rock, Country, and Folk. Bob served as Musical Director, Guitarist, and Vocalist for Paul Sills’ “Story Theatre," and in 2007 Tony Award winning artist/RnB Hall of Fame member Maxine Brown recorded his song "I Want To Be Loved" (Mee Max Records).
As a studio musician and writer for the last 30 years, Bob Crawford has worked with Larry Harlow (Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award 2008), Jocelyn Brown, Phoebe Snow, Ron Richardson (Tony Award Winner 1986), Carl Hall, Aztec 2 Step, Beverly Crosby, Loretta Devine, McFadden & Whitehead, and Vondie Curtis-Hall. In 1988, he and Larry Harlow wrote and produced the theme song for the TV show "Komedy U" starring Ellen DeGeneres, and in 1991 his song "My Time Is Now" ("Mi Tiempo Llego") was included on Larry's album of the same name. Additionally, Bob's book “Symmetric Cycles” was published by RMCO MUSIC/Charles Colin Publications in May, 2011.
