Florida artist Charles Clark learned the importance of independence, willpower, and education as a young boy growing up in a single-parent home. After falling short on his 1st attempt in the “Virginia Idol" competition, his determination brought him back a 2nd time, where he won the 1st place prize of a car and the chance to open for a major label RnB group. Writing in the Pop, Hip Hop, and RnB genres, Charles' music has achieved nationwide airplay, and his song “Bring Back The Stars” was ranked #1 on a Phoenix, AZ radio station for a record breaking 23 consecutive weeks.
Charles Clark turned down the opportunity to sign with a record label at a young age in favor of attending college. He became the first in his family to obtain a college degree, and he is also an accomplished USA Track and Field runner.
