Clemens Wijers
Netherlands Composer and Sound Designer Clemens Wijers began on keyboards at age 7, and studied keyboard and music theory for 8 years at Kunstschool Meander, where he accompanied the youth choirs on numerous live performances. In 2002, be began combining symphonic and metal music, and later studied composition at Brabants Conservatorium. During 2011, his music appeared in three short films: The Woes of Marsh, Harvey’s Dream (based on Stephen King story), and Herstpunt. In 2010, Clemens created various music and sound design projects, and was featured in a short animated film.
Clemens Wijers music was featured during 2011 in the following films: The Woes Of Marsh Animated Short by Callison Slater & Sydney-Chanele Dawkins; Harvey’s Dream (Hakan Gunnarson, with story by Stephen King); and a short drama film, Herstpunt (directed by Coen van Beek). Clemens’ 2010 work includes music for Im Visier, an animated short film (Dries van Lommel); Music and Sound Design, Death Came Through A Phantom Ship (Carach Angren); and the Orchestral introduction track for Vredehammer.
