Based in Cyprus, Colin Garth's life and musical experiences come together to provide an eclectic mix of music perfect for TV, Movies, Commercials, and Multimedia. He began playing drums at 9, working clubs by 15, and by 21 he was touring the world professionally with several bands, including Gerry and the Pacemakers, P&O Cruises Orchestra, Norman Wisdom, and Stutz Bear Cats. Showing tremendous diversity, Colin brings us both vocal and instrumental music in the Electronic, Dramatic, World, Orchestral, Rock, and Pop genres, among others.
Colin Garth grew up listening to his trombone-playing father's Jazz and Big Band recordings, and by his teens he was performing with semi-professional Jazz bands, Dance bands, and Big Bands playing clubs, pubs, and dance halls around the UK. His first professional gig was in a touring cabaret show on the island of Jersey, Channel Islands, where he played two shows every night. Picking up Pantomimes, tours, and one-night-stands in between, Colin spent 6 years in a seven piece orchestra on P&O cruise ships -- the sight-reading exercise of a lifetime! He's been around the world several times, sitting in and jamming with some of the finest musicians from Australia to Canada.
