Eric Waters excels on electric, classical and steel-string acoustic guitars. He has won honors and awards in the UK and USA for his compositions, has been featured on TV and radio, and toured extensively in the USA and Canada. His performing experiences range from working with such notables as the legendary Chuck Berry to Master Classical training with Brazilian guitar virtuoso Carlos Barbosa-Lima. Since 1972, Eric Waters has performed professionally on electric, classical and steel-string acoustic guitars. His compositions have received prizes in regional and national competitions resulting in invitations to serve as a judge in The Mid-Atlantic Song Contests.
Selected by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, he has been included among the candidates for The Virginia State Community College Artist Residency Program.
Eric has contributed as an author to Guitar Player Magazine, and served as an Instructor of Guitar in the Music Department of The George Washington University for 16 years.
