Lux is the work of Ed Kliman and Jonah Kane-West -- two dedicated men carrying on, and adding to, the traditional piano-driven R&B of New Orleans. Built on a foundation of Jonah's rolling R&B piano, and Ed's jazz phrasing and full-throated "honey and whiskey" baritone, Lux brings to life the rhythms of New Orleans masters such as Dr. John, Professor Longhair and Meade "Lux" Lewis. With soulful harmonica work and all that piano-fueled grit and glory, we guarantee you that Lux's music, from rolling Louisiana rhythms to boogie woogie, is the real deal!
