The NO STEP Project gives genre hopping voice Soom T - whose collabs include The Orb, King Creosote, Bus, T.Raumschmiere, Jamie Liddell, Five Deez, Miss Kittin amongst many others - & musical comrade Hagos full creative control with unique efforts in electronic productions influenced by a vast array of artists.

HAGOS aka HAGGIS / LORD HAGOS has been active - as a sound engineer, musician, producer and programmer- since the beginning of time. Well, since the late 70s anyway. Originally playing guitar and bass in local Scottish punk and metal bands such as The Sockets, Trauma and Hessian he consequently went on to play bass for Sleeping Dogs Wake, Lodestar & Ozric Tentacles while continuing to experiment in his home studio with electronica, ambient, rock, industrial / EBM and Dub.

Current situations sees him engineer for Rock and Roll legend Marianne Faithfull, pop starlet Kate Nash, Heavy Metal over-lord Zakk Wylde, Dub/Pop/Hip-Hop fusionists Mattafix & Folk-tronica pioneers Tunng.  In Soom he feels he has eventually found the perfect writing / production partner for they seem to be of one mind in many ways, drawn towards similar quirky / eerie modes and harmonies, an interest in a spiritual life, a strong belief in social justice and an irresistible tendency towards extremely deep bass.
