Born September 13th, 1981 on the gritty streets of Chicago's Westside, Antwoine "Sho-Illa" Tyler was destined to be a star. At the age of 8 he began battle rapping other kids in school, getting his lyrical ability up to par. He would go on to be in many rap groups, but it wasn't until 1999, when he met Percy Powell of Powell Records that he started to take rap seriously. Since then he has done a ridiculous amount of shows, and has even opened up for several big name artists. Sho-Illa released his successful debut "Neu Chi" in 2004, creating a mediocre street buzz, and introducing himself as a extremely credible rap artist. After a 3 year hiatus he's back with his mixtape series breaking the stereotypical view of Chicago rappers. The inviting series blatantly named, "Come see about me" proves that along with his NeuChi Click he will conquer Chicago, and the rap game period. His beyond skilled lyrical ability, punchlines,word play, and delivery will have you listening in close to hear the next thing he will say. Sho-Illa is definitely the next hottest artist to come out of Chicago. You are all invited to take this ride, and come see about the self proclaimed "King of The Chi". Sho-Illa, a founding member of Powell Records' Monsta Clique, is the first break-out solo artist on the prominent independent record label to drop his own mixtape series.
