Somewhere Between Here and There
Somewhere Between Here And There is an Electro-Industrial Rock band out of Houston, Texas, formed in 2002 by artist/producer Jason Epperley. SBHT has been described as "tight, gritty, dark, and in your face... Blending stylistic grooves with rich texture of instrumentation, taking the listener on a ride through the dark side of their subconscious with eerie psychological satisfaction". Drawing on a diverse range of influences such as Pink Floyd, Tricky, The Pixies, and Nine Inch Nails, SBHT brings us music in the Electronic, Hard Rock, Techno, and Experimental genres.
Jason Epperley is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and composer who began his musical journey at a very young age. In his mid-20’s, Jason began touring as a drummer for bands like Nocturne (then signed to Triple X Records), Paris By Nite (Seraph Records), Gitane Demone (of Christian Death), Dirty Werk (Dopehouse Records), Slim, and Minister Fiend. In his off time, he produced and wrote for various artists like Krystal Blue (voted one of Maxims' top 10 Latin artists of 2008). After years of traveling different roads and seasoning his musical chops, he formed Somewhere Between Here And There. During their live shows, Jason plays drums, and is joined by a line-up consisting of guitarist Vincent Lacy, and Adain Vela, who provides keyboards, samplers, and vocals.
