Stefanos M. Makris has been actively involved with music and music technology since a young age, when he studied classical piano and composition. Since 1986, he has leveraged personal computers and technology, creating music that is both moving and original. Stefanos's music incorporates a unique blend of New Age, Electronica and Chill, often expanding over a wide spectrum of diverse musical textures from emotive piano solos to modern chill electronica, and intricate orchestral moods and beyond. The results are provocative, engaging and fresh.
Stefanos M. Makris’ accomplishments include working with the former Greek rock band “Black Tees” and the Greek artist Zac F. He also released a CD in collaboration with Greek artist Noel Koutlis under the title of “Sound Escape,” and collaborated with artist Peas and other LA-based musicians on Greek folk music projects. Many of Stefanos' compositions have been aired in the Greek Athenian Metro area radio.
