Based in the UK, The Boy From Space is a fun, quirky, and upbeat Euro Pop act with great guitar-driven grooves. Fran Ashcroft (Gorillaz, Dandy Warhols, The Kingsman) did the final mixing and mastering for the debut album, released by Sunset Records, at his world renowned state-of-the-art Happy Beat Studios in the UK. It is very easy to hear the Pop influence of Fran Ashcroft in the new album from The Boy From Space. “We are at the point now where we are adding bonus tracks and creating versions of certain songs for the radio pools,” says Sunset Records head, Don Lichterman. “This is one of those projects where you just let them go off in the studio... The band cannot be in any better hands as far as working with a producer, engineer and at the Happy Beat Facility.” Ashcroft has worked at the top recording studios all over the world, including Abbey Road Studios, Trident Studios (for EMI), Robert Lang Studios, and Birdland Studios.
