For the past 10 years, Darren Lucas has shared his guitar talents all over the World, touring with various musical theatre productions. From 2004-2008, Darren performed with Troika Entertainment in the Broadway hit musical "Cats." In 2002, he was in the European Tour "Hair!" Today Darren demonstrates the originality, artistry and showmanship of years working with great icons in the music industry, and is winning raves from our Film, TV, Documentary and Games clients.
A graduate of McNally Smith College of Music, formerly known as Music Tech, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Darren has studied with world renowned talents such as Jimmy Behringer, Bobby Stanton, and Cliff Wittstruck.
Darren has played guitar for various theatres and touring companies such as Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Windwood Theatrics, Wolfgang Bocksch, to name a few. Favorite tours include, North American tour COPACABANA (2001), and the European Tour HAIR! (2002. Most recently, Darren he performed on the Broadway hit musical, CATS from 2004-2008 with Troika Entertainment.
Darren has worked alongside many professional artists, writing and mixing various demo CD’s and tracks. Currently, he spends a majority of his time enjoying life off of the road in Minneapolis, writing, recording, and creating new songs for Video Games, Independent Film scores, and commercial use. His repertoire of music styles range from Electronic and Pop Guitar, to Hip Hop and R&B.
