Igor Correia is an award winning Brazilian-born composer, performer, and producer based in Toronto, Canada. His experience with music covers a wide variety of styles and media; he has written music for the concert hall, films, and television. Igor is also the 2008 winner of the Karen Kiezer Prize in Canadian Music for his Three Songs of Great Range for mezzo-soprano, violin, clarinet and harp. He is also part of the composer’s group The Toy Piano Composers. Correia has recently finished his Masters in Music Composition at the University of Toronto.
