Peter Martin Jazz
Peter Martin is an award winning Jazz pianist and accordionist. During his sterling career, Peter has performed with Diana Ross and the Supremes at Red Rocks, Bill Medley, Brenda Lee, Bobby Caldwell, Ray Conniff, Mel Carte, Frank Sinatra Jr., Billy Joe Royal, Joanie Sommers, and other well known stars. His array of clients include Disney Studios, MGM, Mattel, and at The New York Shakespeare Festival, among others.
As CEO of Musicraft Productions and Academy of Music Arts (ASCAP) Peter devotes his time to teaching and composing as well as performing for jazz festival audiences. He continues teaching the next generation of musicians the value of Classical music as well as the history of America's greatest music contributions including Jazz, Blues, Gospel and the Great American Songbook.
As a Jazz Accordionist Peter garnered a second place finish in the ATG Art Van Damme International Jazz Accordion competition in 2005 in Dallas, Texas. Peter is President Emeritus of the Northern California Accordion Society and has served on the Board of the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society while appearing in music festivals with his bands, The Eaglesnest, Kepha, Antares & the Peter Martin trio.
