Hailing from Los Angeles, Laurie began her education as a student of Music at UCLA, and a graduate of The Grove School of Music with a degree in Jazz and Theory. A songwriter for her whole adult life, since 2015, Laurie has been the Musical Director for Rex & Friends, with CRE Outreach. From 2016 through 2020, Laurie was instrumental in co-producing four separate sold-out, highly-regarded shows in Los Angeles, writing original music, and as Musical Director. Laurie was also the co-founder and former CEO of LPJ Entertainment and LPJ Records.
