Kev Lymn (Blues Tracks)

In the late 1990s, Kev Lymn left his native Australia for Europe. While living in a small Irish village he began incorporating Celtic music and the Irish story-telling tradition into his laidback blues numbers. Soon he moved to Berlin and began touring in Europe and the USA with Berlin-based musicians. Kev's songs and lyrics reflect his adventures abroad, evoking a mythical quality. His guitar playing is characterized by a percussive rhythmic style, combining slide and Irish folk tunings on dobro and 12 string guitar, creating full chord voicings that resonate in his music.
