Phil Evans
Phil Evans is a composer, musician, vocalist, sound engineer and multimedia producer. He has performed with over 65 bands, orchestras and music groups, including Australian Chamber Orchestra, Australian Opera Orchestra, and the Victorian Opera Co. He is a drum loop specialist and composes in many genres. Phil's credits include documentary soundtracks, a highly successful series on the life of Martial Arts Legend Bruce Lee; jingles, sports promo 'Action Breaking Events,' 'Barcelino Menswear,' 'Daffodil Day' (Cancer Charity) and Faber Castel Brush Markers, and theatre compositions.
Phil Evans' musical journey began at 12. Since then, his compositional credits include soundtracks for three documentaries on the life of martial arts legend Bruce Lee and a version of the Australian National Anthem, “Advance Australia Fanfare,” which was performed by noted jazz trumpeter, James Morrison, with a 60 piece choir and orchestra. The music was synchronised to fireworks on Australia Day 1999 at the Parramatta Park amphitheatre before an upstanding crowd of 60,000. Phil's studio “Chorus Music & Media” was featured in the international publication “Sound on Sound” in November 2005. He has produced over 100 recordings, videos and multimedia presentations in the corporate and entertainment fields.
