Originally from Chicago, Ed Hartman composes in 14 genres, including Classical, Asian, Latin, Jazz, and Orchestral -- often working in dark, edgy, scary or tribal themes, using the exotic marimba and unusual percussion to add zing and originality. Ed has scored music for Film, TV, Radio, and even a Planetarium! Ed Hartman received his degree in percussion from Indiana University, and has written articles, sheet music and books about music.
