Voix Des Iles (Vocal Tracks)

Polynesian Chants from the Marquesas Islands - The group "Voix Des Iles" is a parish choir whose members sing with all their hearts and with spontaneity, not knowing anything about music scores, notes and nuances.  They follow tradition and sing the same way they fish, hunt, and carve, learning by observing others.  The recording of these songs has been made to help preserve the Cathedral of Taiohae, a masterpiece built 25 years ago, the pride of the whole people.  The sculptures located there are all remarkable and reflect the Marquesan's artistic genius.
