The band was formed in 1979 from various schools in Lambeth and developed into the orchestra you see today. It has performed all over England and played in various venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, The Festival Hall, The Barbican and others. They have made several TV appearances on shows such as "Good Morning Britain", T.V.A.M., and The Six O'Clock Show.
