Tom Jemmott
New York native Tom Jemmott started playing guitar at the age of 10 after hearing the Beatles, and today he writes music for Film, TV, Trailers, and Video Games. His credits include ABC's prime-time game show "Downfall," Fox's "American Idol," Nat Geo's "Monster Fish," ESPN, and advertising spots for Esurance, Disney's "Alice in Wonderland," Microsoft, and Honda. Tom has also scored many films including the teen comedy feature "3 Times A Charm" and the horror film "Bloody Homecoming," and he was nominated for Best Original Score at the Pan Pacific Film Festival for "Thirst."
Tom Jemmott became the guitarist and musical director for top Jazz singer Belinda Womack and was voted Tampa Bay's Best Jazz Band in 1994. He also performed in concert with legendary cornetist Nat Adderly and was the opening act for many of America's top Jazz artists. Besides being an avid composer, Tom continues performing as a Jazz, Classical, Pop, and Rock guitarist. His influences range from Wes Montgomery, Pat Metheny and John Scofield, to the rock sounds of Jimi Hendrix, Keith Urban and the Beatles, and the film music of Danny Elfman, James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer.
