Steve Barden
California Composer Steve Barden has been writing orchestral music since the 1970s. His studies include composition, orchestration and arranging at Fullerton College, Cal State Long Beach and UCLA. Steve has scored for animated TV series, including Tic Tac Toons, Button Nose and Journey to the Heart of the World, and his cues appear on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and the award-winning animation short, The Baseball Card Shop (Nickelodeon). Steve's music appears on many popular afternoon TV talk shows.
Steve Barden's recent projects include scoring an online MMO video game as well as the pilot episode of a crime drama TV show being filmed in Taiwan. Earlier in his career, he also studied film composing with Don B. Ray, Gerald Fried, and Mark Watters; and studied orchestration with Steven Scott Smalley, and jazz arranging with Tom Kubis.
Steve is a very busy guy and in great demand everywhere. He has written music for television commercials, radio theme songs, and animated e-cards for the Internet. We are delighted to have this talented composer on our site!
