Most of Michael's music features a guitar synthesizer to achieve the string sections, brass and sounds of a keyboard synthesizer. Demonstrating exceptional talent, Michael composes and performs in broad musical styles ranging from Django Reinhardt to Rap/Hip-Hop. His mastery of the guitar, his thoughtful development of melody and his wry humour shine in these tracks, and would be perfect for almost every type of media dramatization. Included in this collection are a number of pieces composed specifically for 30 seconds for advertising themes.
This is enticing music well-suited to television, corporate and advertising purposes - as well as simply pleasant and interesting listening.
Michael's work includes tender and emotive anthems, some strong and driving instrumentation, and quirky and comic songs in various styles. His work is built around jazz, but includes many sideroads into rock, pop, classical and rap/hip-hop formats.
