SJ is a singer-songwriter living in Miami Beach, Florida. He released his first album - "Some Days" - independently in December 2008. His instrument of choice is the acoustic guitar, and he blends rich acoustic rhythms with meaningful lyrics and gentile vocals to create his own style of folk atlernative/indie music. SJ is currently working on his second album for release sometime in 2009. He's playing various venues in the Miami and Miami Beach areas, and continues to attract increasing support as his music reaches others around the world. SJ was born on June 14, 1977 in Cleveland, Ohio. He's lived around the United States and spent time in Europe and Latin America. When he's not writing and playing music, he's busy practicing law as a corporate attorney focusing in international business transactions, and practicing martial arts. SJ is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He did his graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh and his undergraduate work at Gannon University where he played NCAA Division II soccer.
