Don Carroll, master composer and dynamo sax player and keyboardist, offers exciting compositions suitable for use in almost any media project. Don picked up a sax at age 13 and shortly thereafter, formed a Rock & Roll band. For 20 years, he played sax for U. S. Navy bands in various locations, including six years in Annapolis, Maryland. For two years he attended the Navy’s School of Music, studying theory, harmony, arranging, conducting and composition. Don’s love of playing music and his passion for orchestrating and arranging shine through in each track.
Don retired from the Navy in 1982, and he spent the next 10 years as a keyboard/sax player with a road band. Later, he returned to his hometown of Houston, Texas, where he still performs locally and regionally to the delight of his fans.
