Sixteen year-old singer songwriter Jordan Reimer has been writing stories, poems and songs since she was eight years old. Her musical interests started at the piano, then the flute and the violin. But quickly the acoustic guitar became her true passion and is now the third instrument that she plays. Jordan's music can be described as acoustic, folk, pop. She intertwines the innocence of Jewel with the song-writing capabilities of Joni Mitchell and the voice of Mazzy Star’s Hope Sandoval. Her musical influences range from classics (Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, Mazzy Star), to those who died young (Ellliott Smith, Jeff Buckley), and to bands less popular in the world of music. Jordan enjoys writing about love and the tidal wave of emotions we willingly ride while participating in it. With all that in mind, her style is always progressing and changing.
