Adam Monroe
Adam Monroe is a singer, songwriter and pianist from New Jersey, who composes in an alt progressive rock style and writes dynamic and emotional lyrics. He's been featured on several radio shows and won the "Solo Performance" category on Ourstage in 2007. He has performed originals and covers by Tool, A perfect Circle, Incubus and the Police. Adam's style ranges from haunting soft melodies to aggressive, complex patterns and arpeggios. His lyrics, powerful vocals, and rhythmically complex instrumentation guarantee a complex musical talent for many media applications.
A native from northern New Jersey, Adam Monroe dove into music with piano lessons at five and although he studied classical and jazz, most of his abilities are the result of years of playing by ear and improvisation. During high school, college and a few years afterward, Adam pursued playing the guitar and honing his songwriting. Adam proves to be a favorite of both casual listeners and analytical musicians.
