Based in Florida, Laura Sanz is a unique composer with a flair for Classical music. An accomplished pianist, she is a graduate of the National School of Arts of Havana, Cuba, where she was born. Laura has received many awards for her music, including recently winning the "Song of the Month" award at the Song of the Year contest, and her music has also been featured on Discovery, OWN, and CBS. The Cuban Contradanza dates back to the European contredanse, which was an internationally popular form of music and dance of the late 18th century, coming to Cuba thru the French Colonists fleeing Haiti´s Revolution in the 1790.
