William Bures' understanding and passion for the art of music and sound began at the young age of 13 when he began installing stereo systems at a car audio shop. His expertise in circuitry and sound production further developed over the next seven years of installing slamming sound systems that created havoc on the streets, much like the dance floor when DJ Billy B takes control of the decks. His interest in electronic dance music (EDM) began in 1999, when he first began attending all night dance parties. His love for electronic music and the scene was apparent from this
