World Class USA Composer Andy Kotz writes edgy and compelling music in genres that include R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Cinematic, World, Latin, Reggae, Rock, and more. His styles include Dramatic, Cinematic and elegant soundtrack music perfect for today’s modern films and TV specials. Always attentive to sounds and textures of expression, Andy has toured with icons like Michelle Shocked, El DeBarge, Otis Day and the Knights, etc. He scored the films Ernesto, 3 Américas and The Appointment, and his music for The Appointment received "Best Original Score" at the NYU Film Festival.
Following years of success and experience in the music business, Andy Kotz has limitless talent and imagination across a broad spectrum of styles and genres. His originality shines through in each song he composes. Attesting to his creativity, Andy composed and scored tracks for the films Ernesto, Off to College and The Appointment. Most recently, he completed tracks for Cristina Kotz Cornejo's new film about a young American-Argentine girl discovering her roots, 3 Américas, now showing at film festivals around the USA.
Working as a musician and guitarist, Andy has toured with recording artists Ronny Loew, After 7, Chanté Moore, El DeBarge, Gerardo, Michelle Shocked, Otis Day and the Knights, Louie Louie, and has also worked in the studios with "The Worthy Davis Project," Motown, Hayden, Freejack, Chuckie Booker, TLC, Danielle LoPresti, Michael Schlessinger (engineer), among others.
