An aficionado of non-Western music, nearly all of his works have a tinge of various cultures without sounding cliched or gimmicky. Connor has a particular affinity for Japanese, Chinese, and other Eastern musical styles, which shows through in his more traditional-sounding ethnic pieces. He currently works as an orchestrator and composer of film and game music, and he also produces Electronic tracks.
