Q.  What type of ringtone files does AudioSparx sell?

A.  AudioSparx sells sample-based sound wave ringtone files, sometimes known as "true tone" or "real tone" ringtones.  The ringtone file formats available at AudioSparx include these file types:

   MP3
   WAV
   Windows Media
   AMR
   AC3
   OGG

Note that we DO NOT sell MIDI ringtone files, which do not contain actual sound samples.  MIDI files instead contain a series of note-on and note-off digital events that trigger instruments in a synthesizer module built into your phone or in a keyboard synthesizer.  Some ringtone web sites sell only MIDI ringtones, AudioSparx does not sell any MIDI ringtone files.
