Q. Can I use loops from AudioSparx for my commercial CD production?
A. Please note that sound effect loops and music loops are handled differently and there's some subtle issues to be aware of.
SOUND EFFECT LOOPS
The sound effect loops, and sound effects in general, available at AudioSparx can be used for all kinds of CD productions, including software-based productions (i.e. data CDs) as well as music productions (i.e. audio CDs). You can use our sound effects and sound effect loops in a royalty-free buyout manner within multiple projects or productions you create.
MUSIC LOOPS
Music loops, on the other hand, fall into several different categories that each have different considerations:
1. Instrument Sounds and Instrument Loops - These can be embedded into any kind of production in a buyout royalty-free manner. For example, you can buy and use a drum loop to create an entirely new composition, or add a guitar track or guitar loop to an existing composition of yours, and you retain full ownership and composing credit for such compositions. You pay a one-time fee to buy loops or instrument sounds and then can use them in multiple projects or productions or compositions without having to worry about any further licensing or compensation to AudioSparx or anyone else. This is true for all of the tracks in the following categories:

| Percussion / chromatic (xylophones, marimbas, vibraphones, glockenspiels, etc.) |
| Percussion loops (bongo loops, conga loops, timbale loops, tamborine loops, etc.) |
| Strings / bass (electric bass, upright bass, contra-bass, etc.) |
| Strings / guitars (electric, acoustic, classical, distortion, wah, phased, etc.) |
| Strings / other (violins, cellos, banjos, mandolin, ethnic and more) |
| Turntable sound effects (scratches, loops, jams, classic record players and more) |
| Vocal effects and vocal loops |
| Vocals (singing, choirs, solo vocals, a capella, chanting and more) |

2. Music Loops - The music loops sold at AudioSparx, which can be found by clicking here, are complete compositions created by music artists that are selling content at AudioSparx. These are generally complete compositions that, while short in length (typically 4, 8 or 16 bars long), they are not meant to be foundations or backing tracks for newly created composition. They are complete musical concepts sold in a loop format for use on web sites or video games or other commercial uses where there is a need for a repetitive music theme and/or a small file size with continuously playing music. Consequently, our music loops sold specifically from this category here and all the sub-categories under that, CAN ONLY be embedded in a new composition which you are creating if you negotiate with AudioSparx a custom license for such use. Think of this as taking a sample from someone else's music album and embedding it into your song - you can only do this with the proper authorization and compensation. We can negotiate such a license for you with the composer of the loop. The pricing is going to be influenced by how much the original music loop is making up the final new song, and how much ownership of the new song you intend to have (i.e. full ownership, shared ownership, or some variant thereof). 3. Music Multi-Sample Loops - The music loops in this category here have been created specifically for use in new music compositions. These loops have the full music loop at the start, with all instruments playing together, and then each instrument is broken out one-by-one, so that you can mix and match the instruments in your new composition as you desire.
