FREE STORAGE - By selling your tracks at AudioSparx, you'll get free storage for all of your precious audio files.  As you may well know, master track .wav files can easily take up hundreds of megabytes or even gigabytes.  We store your files for free and perform rolling real-time off-site backups for maximum security of your files.

YOU ARE IN CONTROL - You retain full ownership of your content.  You configure your tracks with title, description, keywords, etc.  You can sell your tracks individually or in multi-track "soundpacks".  You can upload multiple related track edits (e.g. full track, 60 second version, 30 second version and so on) and group them together to appear as a unit on the site. You can configure one or more artists under your account if you have content from multiple different sources.  We make it easy with batch upload and batch edit capabilities, a pricing wizard (get that sweet spot!) and other helpful tools to maximize your control to configure your tracks just the way you like.

REAL-TIME MONITORING - You can run reports at any time to see how many plays and sales you have.  We provide many different reports and helpful information to help maximize your sales.  We pay commissions on a quarterly basis religiously.  We strive to keep you happy so you bring more and more content to sell over time.

ROYALTIES - For musicians, we help and guide you in the process end-to-end to help you earn royalties for the use of your music in TV and radio broadcast uses, Internet uses, and in commercial background music services.  Are you an established member of ASCAP, BMI or other performing rights organization (PRO)?  You'll love us!  If not, we'll help you get there quickly. If you prefer to take advantage of our expertise in administering publishing, to help ensure that you earn performance royalties as they should be due to you for broadcast-use of your music, we provide this as an optional service.

Licensing at AudioSparx is "needle-drop", with a royalty-free license option as well which you can enable on a per-track basis. We have many Film and TV producers, music supervisors, sound editors, ad agencies and other professional clients licensing content from this site.

RadioSparx.com - The next-gen Internet music service! RadioSparx was created specifically for businesses to use for background music in shops, restaurants, hotels, chains and more. Businesses can subscribe for a month or longer to gain access to high-quality background music with over 50 music stations online ready for immediate access.		CustomLabelMusic.com - An innovative site where clients design and order their own music CDs.  They choose the desired artwork, music tracks and packaging and then place an order.

RINGTONE DISTRIBUTION - AudioSparx distributes ringtone content to Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, Nextel, TMobile, Bell Mobility, Motricity, and multiple other telcos around the world. Let us distribute your sound effects and/or music as ringtones to maximize your sales opportunities and leverage your valuable audio content.

OTHER COMMERCIAL MUSIC DEALS IN U.S. AND AROUND THE WORLD - AudioSparx also distributes music to multiple different external companies for use as commercial background music. The music is played in stores, restaurants, malls, and many other types of commercial venues, as well as on-hold music for telephone systems.

Details to Consider

20 Track Minimum - For new vendors selling music, we prefer a minimum of 20 music tracks. For others selling sound effects, ringtones or beats and loops, we require a minimum of 50 tracks to participate here. This is not a requirement though, we make exceptions for compelling content, especially vocal music.

Focus on Quality - We reserve the right to reject any artist or track for any reason whatsoever at our sole discretion. If we accept you, AudioSparx will market your music, sound effects, loops and/or ringtones on our web sites and in industry channels. As money is earned from your content, you make money on a revenue-share basis.  Commissions are paid quarterly via PayPal, check or direct deposit (ACH).

Long-Term Commitment Required - At all times, you retain all copyright ownership to all of your tracks.  However, to participate as a vendor at AudioSparx, we do require a non-exclusive five year licensing term commitment for you (e.g. each artist you upload) and for every track that you upload within the five year term.  IMPORTANT - Please read the following article to understand why:  A 5-Year License Term Spells Success at AudioSparx (popup).

Must Upload and Configure Your Tracks - It does not cost money for you to participate here.  However, it does require some of your time, the time it takes for you to upload and configure your tracks.  It is a one-time upload and configuration process and then the tracks will sell for the rest of your life.  You are in control of, and in charge of managing your product (e.g. your music, sound effects, etc.), while we here at AudioSparx handle everything related to the web sites, marketing and distribution of your product.  IMPORTANT - Please read this article to understand the areas of responsibility clearly:  The Relationship between AudioSparx and Our Artists (popup).

Prohibited Web Sites - AudioSparx does not accept any artists whose music tracks are participating in or for sale at any of the web sites or programs listed here below. We believe these sites devalue the music industry and do a major disservice to creative music artists by excessively discounting music pricing on a regular on-going basis. Consequently, we do not wish to associate ourselves with artists who sell music on these sites and thereby assist in this devaluation of the industry, and who would just end up competing against themselves at our site, where we strive to maintain reasonable and fair pricing:
