Extended Keywords: I decided to join a volleyball league this past spring. It actually was a lot more fun then I could have imagined. I was injured nearly every game and was the most awful player, but it was just a blast. It was a tad out of my comfort zone to join a league where I knew no one. But as the games progressed, we exchanged names and stories. After the games, we would venture out to a sports bar and talk about…life. On one of the first nights out, I watched my teams interact with each other and saw a chase beginning between two of them. There was clearly an attraction, but you could see both parties unable to make that first step forward. At one point, I overheard the girl mention that she had 3 seconds before she was going to leave. And while she did not say a word after, you could tell, she was waiting for him to say ‘don’t go. ’
