If loving is walking, my soul should be blistered
for I have seen, so many incredible things
if loving is touching, then consider mine
the softest skin that has ever been.  

and waiting is done, long overdue for interruptions
when this night is done, shall some resolution come?

the hardest rain, oh pinch my widened eyes
the state ordained, for a beautiful way of breathing

cracked a pretty smile, to last the longest while for me.
caught without my breath again, bereft of all the warmth for 
the moment to hold me just so
watching as the distance fades for another of my accolades
in patient wistful music

if loving is seeing, the sky is my heart
no limit to speak of.  i'll wait to see what happens
