HOUSE BY THE SEA


I left New York at 8:00
Now I’m two hours late
Its bumper to bumper

In a house by the sea, she’s waiting for me.
Wide open spaces…
The sun on our faces….

Just how much of my time 
I spend waiting in lines
for one thing or another.

Humble house by the sea,
That’s where we’ll be.
Sleep till we want to…
There’s no one to rescue.

Man on the radio is talking bout another war 
it's never ending.
Everybody’s got a right to try to find a better life
The time we’re spending…

In a house by the sea,
That’s where we’ll be.
The sound of the ocean…
the far blue horizon….

Everybody needs some time to have a little peace of mind
and do some dreaming.
Everybody’s got a choice to listen to their inner voice,
I hear mine screaming.

In a house by the sea that’s where we’ll be
Enough of the high stress…
We’re changing our address.
