Platform one early on a Winter's night
It's tinsel time and everybody's Christmas high
got to say goodbye to these ivied walls
this new life found
leave behind these oak beamed bars
for more familiar ground

Christmas similes can't hide how things used to be

There's a cold white sky and I don't know why
But I feel alright
It's not a great unknown, it's a comfort zone
