For a blissful moment  we sat quietly
And saw the butterflies dance.
With golden wings they fluttered 
in the glittering sunlight.

We thought: it would be nice
to remember each moment like this
as time (made up of all the other moments)
collects into a year.

The very moment, when all of the pain there is,
has grown into a wound.

En stund av lycka satt vi tyst
och såg på fjärilarnas dans.
Med gula fanor svängde de
i solens högtidsglans.

Vi tänkte: det blir skönt en gång
att minnas varje sådan stund
när stunder utav annat slag
har hunnit hopa sig till år
en gång när alla sting som ges
har vuxit ut till sår.
