Got into a fix 
During their escape they found a new mate

When the 6 little fish were safe 
They looked up to the heavens 
Once they were secure they picked up one more

The 7 little fish saw hooks in the water 
But they did not like the bait 
The grabbed a little fish about to take a bite

The 8 little fish followed the current 
Swimming in a line 
A little fish asked to tag along 
8 plus 1 makes 9 (oh, so fine) 

The 9 little fish laughed a played 
Became the best of friends 
Asked a sad little fish to join in the fun

The 10 little fish live happy ever after 
In the ocean blue 
If they had but one wish it would be
