Steven Sproat is one of the UK's finest ukulele exponents, and is the author of three books published worldwide on how to play the ukulele. His voice has the Lennon or McCartney ring to it, and his songwriting is catchy with strong melodies and hooks. Not only a fine singer and uke player, but Steven is a neat acoustic guitar player, too. His songs have been airplayed on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Scotland, as well as numerous Independant stations in the UK, Cyprus and Germany.
Steven Sproat's 30-year career in music has won him respect from his fellow musicians and other songwriters. In addition, he has performed at Ronnie Scotts' London, New York Ukulele Festival and many festivals, wine bars, and concerts, as well as giving regular workshops on ukelele-playing.
