David Ezra Okonsar is a prolific Turkish-Belgian Classical and Contemporary Classical composer, concert pianist, conductor, educator, and musicologist. He studied piano and composition at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Dame Jacqueline Fontyn and Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden. He was also a pupil of piano legend Alexis Weissenberg. David’s compositions fearlessly explore unusual forms and ensembles with complex atonal harmonies interwoven with a very modern but elegant lyricism.
