He is a three-time instrumental songwriting winner at the Winfield Music Festival, and his composition of "Evening Rain" was selected for a classical guitar album. His songs have been used for in-house productions by Hallmark and e-cards by DaySpring. Having won several competitions in classical guitar, Steve has studied this craft with several world class artists including Christopher Parkening.
