Weird Sleeping Kittens formed in the UK in September 2007 at the St. Ives Arts Festival, where all three original members were performing with other bands. Their first public appearance wowed attendees at a private function at the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Association. They released their first album, "Serenade," in 2008. Weird Sleeping Kittens played at the Out Of The Ordinary Festival in 2008 and 2009, headlining the Acoustic Stage in 2009. In 2010, "Goodness Knows" entered the Music World Radio Listeners' Top 20, charting for seven weeks.
