'Jive' introduced in 1934 by Cab Calloway. This is a live uninhibited variation of the Jitterbug. Glenn Miller introduced his own jive dance in 1938 with the song "Doin' the Jive. Today it is used in line dancing and fitness clubs worldwide. The ballroom version seldom swings but is a strict tempo version but the soul of Jive is Swing and you must feel the swing to dance it correctly. You cannot dance it by numbers you have to feel it. This is a Live recording that will always give you the real feel of the Jive.
