Small Change.

Last night, as I was dreaming, I heard some special words,
they were spoken by an angel and prompted me to wake.
So I put them down on paper, the wisdom that I heard: he said
'We have to look beyond our own world for the changes we can make.'

Small change from people giving, bringing hope to young and old.
When rain turns into rivers and the sand turns into gold.

Small change...

Like three coins in a fountain, we make our wishes and throw,
then they grow into a waterfall - which thunders as it flows.
And now when we lie sleeping we are smiling in the dark.
Guided by that golden flame which grew from so many sparks.

Small change in every pocket, every bag and every bowl.
When pain becomes a rocket fuelled by people's hearts and souls.
Small change from people giving, bringing hope to young and old.
When rain turns into rivers and the sand turns into gold.

The earth delivers elements like ancient alchemy.
Great golden light is shining out to set the people free.
