It’s easy living when you’re just beginning
There’s not much risking when you pass by drifting
You think you’re winning till your head stops spinning
Your heart is pounding cause there’s something missing
Shadows waiting, shadows watching
Doors are closing, but you’re still knocking

Feels like you have lost control
Chasing something you don’t know
Feels like something’s gone all wrong
Is your shadow rising

They’ll run over till you’re trampled under
They’ll build your ruins while you stare in wonder
You think you’re winning but you’re only spinning
They’re here to tell you that there’s something missing
Shadows waiting, shadows watching
Doors are slamming, but you’re still knocking
